Tania Love
Tania leads FaulknerBrowns Architects’ thinking on city centre place-shaping.
She is responsible for leading and managing large multi-disciplinary teams and has delivered over 2 million sqft of city centre retail and leisure projects.
Some new-build and some remodelling of existing buildings, often in heritage settings, notably Monument Mall and Market Halls, award-winning for their innovative contribution to place.
Currently Tania is working on some interesting new interventions to Grainger Market in Newcastle city centre, and Blyth Pavilion- a new 3-screen cinema and community theatre in the town’s marketplace.
Tania’s skills have led to seats on industry boards including Revo and the Leisure Property Forum. She is also a Non-Exec Director of NE1 (Newcastle’s BID) and The BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art.
Tania is part of the Government’s High Streets Task Force, part of a national effort supporting local authorities and communities in transforming their high streets.
She is also a Fellow of The Institute of Place Management and of the RSA.
In May 2018, Tania was awarded European Woman Architect of the Year at the Women in Construction & Engineering Awards
