Peter has a strong track record in the UK of development, regeneration and infrastructure delivery, building bespoke solutions to execute strategic economic priorities.

He leads the City Development Directorate within the Council which covers functions as diverse as Direct Investment and Regeneration, Economic Development, Inward Investment, Skills and Business Support, Commercial Land and Property, Carbon Reduction Planning, Highways, Infrastructure and Development Management, Cultural Regeneration and Regulatory Services, The Port of Sunderland and Siglion (The City Development Company).
