Cath Turner
Occupational Therapist,
University of Sunderland
Since 1989, I have dedicated my career to the field of Occupational Therapy, working in a diverse array of settings. With decades of experience, I now contribute to the profession's future by serving at the University of Sunderland, where I help educate and mentor the next generation of Occupational Therapists.
In addition to my academic role, I remain actively engaged in clinical practice. Each week, I spend a day working with trainees at a horticultural day centre for individuals with learning disabilities. This hands-on involvement not only enriches my teaching but also allows me to continue making a direct impact on the lives of those in need of specialized care and support.
