Riverside Park will open as a brand-new public space in 2025.
Our Come Outside event was for residents of Sunderland to come along and find out more about the exciting developments of Riverside Park, try out a whole range of community-based activities centred around health, wellbeing and exercise and discover a new outdoor city scene for a healthier life.
This took place on the event space at Keel Edge, with indoor sessions and exhibitors within the Chamber at City Hall.
There was plenty of family friendly and group attractions, including free-to-book low and high impact exercise sessions, electric driving tasters and City Hall tours. Bike repairs, nature activities, arts and crafts and sessions to promote sustainability, health and wellbeing.
Residents of all ages came along as we showcased our thriving, healthy and sustainable city as a brand-new outdoor lifestyle scene for everyone to be part of.
