Expo event announcement: Delivering the Future City, 14-15 October 2025
Expo will redefine events in Sunderland by exploring the future of homes, living and cities at scale from 2025 with pilot attractions and launch events taking place in 2024.

The Future City events programme is where business & government will discuss, explore and progress innovative ideas that create city success.
Inspired by Sunderland’s imaginative regeneration, it will explore how to boost social & economic growth and create sustainable cities.
The Future Living events programme and festivals are for residents and communities to discover new opportunities in Sunderland including healthy lifestyles, fun and entertaining activities, education, culture, food, low-carbon lifestyles and work.
The Future Home events programme is the new destination for expert advice, great inspiration, innovative ideas and products for home design, better building, interiors, sustainable living, shared communities and home technology.
Expo Sunderland has received funding from UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, to support businesses.
We would like to invite innovative businesses and voluntary sector organisations, based in Sunderland, to join us at our Expo Sunderland Challenge Bootcamp event on 20 November 2024.

Educators and industries investing in Sunderland will showcase the future skills needed in our city for the first time at Expo Sunderland's Your Future Expo event.
A new world of opportunity for school and college students, adults and graduates.
On 18-20 March 2025, our resident population will be able to see that education is matched to future employment in Sunderland with extraordinary exhibits, TED-style talks, workshops and competitions.
